What we do and what we don't do

What we do

  • Ask you to only enter your sort code, account number, security code and one piece of secure personal information when logging into your accounts.
  • Send you emails with links to features such as online demo's and information or promotions about our products and services. These links are for your convenience and you can always type our URL directly.

What we don't do...

  • Send urgent or time-sensitive emails or ones that ask you to provide, updates or confirm sensitive data like your account number, PIN, and security details.
  • We will never ask you to enter your sort code, account number, security code and one piece of Secure Personal Information at any point except where you log in the Bank's website, www.co-operativebank.co.uk, on your browser.
  • Send you an email that tells you to provide personal information because it's for your own security.
  • Send you an email with input fields that ask you for sensitive information.

If you notice anything strange on your statements contact us immediately. If you think someone could have accessed your accounts, ring our Service Centre.
