TIPANET
Q. What is a TIPANET transfer?
A. TIPANET transfers are available to the following countries:
BELGIUM / FRANCE / GERMANY / SPAIN / USA
The charge for a TIPANET transfer is always a flat fee of £8.00, no additional agents charges apply. The transfer will normally take up to 5 working days to reach the other bank.
TIPANET transfers are always converted and sent in Euros, unless to the USA where US Dollars will be sent. Rates of exchange will be set on the day the transfer is made. The exchange rates we use are based on market rates and are comparable to those used by other banks and building societies within the UK.
Q. How much can I send in a TIPANET transfer?
A. The payment amount must be under the following values for us to use TIPANET:
| Belgium: | €50,000 |
| France: | €50,000 |
| Germany: | no limit |
| Spain: | €50,000 |

If you'd like to transfer more than the limit allowed by a particular country, you could send money via SWIFT or euroCHAPS with the exception of the USA as euroCHAPS does not operate to the USA.
