Foreign drafts
Q. What is a foreign draft?
A. Foreign drafts are like cheques but drawn on and payable through a foreign bank.
We charge 0.25% of the draft amount (minimum charge £13.00 - maximum charge £35.00). We will normally send the draft to your home address by 1st class post (please allow 5 working days to receive the draft).
We can send the draft out by special delivery / registered post if it’s urgent. In addition to the above charges, we will charge the standard royal mail charges for the facility. If you want us to send it overseas then you will be charged for air mail. You will need to allow plenty of time for it to arrive. Drafts cannot be sent registered air mail.
Please note, as the draft is guaranteed the cash will debit your account when the draft is issued and not when it is cashed.
