Automated Voice Messaging

We use an Automated Voice Messaging phone service to enable us to quickly and efficiently verify potential fraudulent transactions, when using your card at home or abroad.

What you can expect if you receive an automated call or message from us:

  • You can verify the call is from us as the Caller Line Identification (CLI) number will always be 0845 401 9126, (you'll see this on the display screen of your phone or if you dial 1471).
  • When answered, the call will clearly state who it is for.
  • You will then be asked for information to identify yourself.
  • Information about recent card transactions will be provided (up to five separate card transactions in any one call).
  • You will be asked to confirm by using your telephone keypad if the card transactions were made by you.
  • If yes, the call will end after choosing the appropriate option.
  • If no, you'll be put through to one of our advisors.

If we are unable to get in touch with you, we may leave a message on your answer phone to contact us.
